Creativity class offered at Durham Tech for first time

Creativity class offered at Durham Tech for first time

Becoming a Creative Genius (again)

Offered this Fall for the first time at Durham Tech Community College

Did you know that research NASA participated in determined that 98% of us are born with creative abilities the space agency labeled ‘creative genius’ but only 2% perform at that level at age 25?

I have spent nearly 20 years developing and testing content and designing classroom experiences that are proven to help you grow your creative capacity and develop your entrepreneurial instincts to help you restore your natural born creative genius.

There’s nothing more important to living a fulfilling personal life and achieving success in your business and professional career than being the most creative, entrepreneurial, and generative version of yourself you can be, and this class will accelerate your growth towards accomplishing that.

I taught earlier versions of this class for 14 years to over 2,000 Duke undergrads. They paid $5000 to attend my class. At Durham Tech you get an improved version of the course for only $129, and that includes a copy of my book.

The class meets from September 12th to October 31st, on Wednesday, from 6 to 9 pm, at Durham Tech’s Main Campus. You’ll be tired after a long day so the classes are fast-paced and fun, and you’ll have time each class session to take a break and get close counsel from me and fellow students on your own creative projects. And each class is a complete unit. You could miss two or three and still get a great return on your investment.

I’ve helped start a number of ventures, have published 3 novels, love teaching, and my first job was a teenage fishing guide in NW Ontario and the Ozarks of Arkansas. I’ve worked in four of the creative industries and have studied hundreds of research projects by neuroscientists and social scientists about the creative mind and entrepreneurial behavior. We’ll explore what I’ve learned from all those experiences and as we discover and craft the creative mindset and toolbox that serves you best.

And such interesting people are attracted to my courses and workshops one of the great benefits of enrolling is meeting them and learning from each other.

-On the next page, in the lower right, click on ‘Register and Pay for continuing education classes.’

-On the next page, near the middle, type ‘Creative’ in the ‘Search For’ box and search

-Check the box next to my class to start your registration — it will take you to a new page to enter your info and pay.

And I hope to see you in class.
